Topographic map
One switch turns the normal map into a topographic map, with contour lines, hillshade and tracks coloured by difficulty. It is part of the offline maps, so you see it with no signal.
What it does
It shows the ground like a hiking map, plus what matters on a bike: tracks split by difficulty, closed sections and protected areas.

- Hillshade, contour lines every 25 m, bolder every 100 m, and spot heights.
- Easy, Medium and Hard tracks with different dashes, white roads, closed sections and protected areas.
- Peaks, passes, fords, gates, springs, huts, shelters and viewpoints.
- TINITALY elevation at 10 m where available, otherwise Copernicus at 30 m.
When it helps
When you plan a dirt ride and want to see where it climbs, where the passes are and how steep it gets. On the ride it helps you find a spring, a hut or the point where a track crosses the ridge. You see gates and fords before you reach them.
How to use it
☰ menu › topo map switch, or Settings › Appearance.
- Download the region from Offline maps. The topo map is already in it.
- Open the ☰ menu and switch the topo map on.
- To go back to the normal map, switch it off again.
Good to know
- When you switch it off, tracks stay drawn as minor roads.
- Track difficulty comes from OpenStreetMap. If a section is described badly, its colour can be wrong too.
